ABOUT PRATIKSHA

I am a budding designer currently pursuing Textile Designing at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. I am a young enthusiastic, passionate design thinker keen to explore and work with the textiles surface, prints, and weave. I admire traditional art and craft and India's richness in art, craft, and culture always inspires me, which I try to incorporate in my designs with a modern touch. I am a quick learner, detail-oriented, and always ready to learn and take on challenges.  Being a nature admirer I always try to design around Sustainability and circular fashion.

I hail from Durg ,Chhattisgarh. During my Textile Design specialization at NIFT, I have developed hand-drawn and digital print development and layouting, fabric manipulations, weaving, and surface embellishment like patchwork, tie and dye, applique, embroidery, Natural Dyeing, and Block printing. I have relevant skills in pattern making, garment design, construction, and making trade sketches and tech packs due to my minor in Fashion Designing and illustration.
